As a leading center for women's health innovation, Baylor College of Medicine drives multidisciplinary research to transform the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of endometriosis. They conduct basic, clinical, translational, and interdisciplinary research in collaboration with national and international institutions, investigate the gut microbiome’s role in endometriosis development and its potential as a diagnostic/therapeutic target. Furthermore, they explore non-hormonal therapies, incl. oleuropein, to suppress lesion growth and improve fertility.
